Every time I talked to June on the phone I always made sure that I told her "I love you". I did this because I knew that any phone call could be our last. Most of the time June would say I love you first. Every once in a while I'd say it first but not very often. I can still hear her say "I love you, sweetie". I love you was the last thing we said to each other before she died.
