Right before we left Erlanger June took me shopping one day. We went to Dillard's (it was McAlpins at the time). She bought me a dress and necklace. She showed me the department where she used to work. She also took me to GNC which ended up being an adventure for me as a 12 year old. They had vitamins that were Bubble Gum. That was thrilling to me as a kid. The only vitamins I knew of were Sesame Street and Flintstone Vitamins. To find out there were so many other types of vitamins thrilled me as a kid.
